Interested in taking out one of our Club's V-15s or Flying Scots for a sail?

When: Wednesday to Sunday when the club is open. 

How: To be checked out to use our  Club boats please contact the Club at 610-521-4705 or sailmaster@cycop.com  to set up an appointment. Once you have been checked out and authorized to take out the boat and you have signed a waiver you are welcome to use the boat during club hours. 

*Wednesday evenings V15s are reserved for One Design racing by private charter. More information here. 

The Flying Scot is a 19-foot centerboard day-sailer with a large deep cockpit ideal for family sailing, holding up to four adults. It is rigged with a jib and main. 
 

The Vanguard 15 is a double handed, one-design boat. It is lighter, faster, and easier to transport than many other comparable dinghies. The V-15 is ideal for both high caliber fleet racing and for day sailing with the family. This boat has also become the standard for international team racing.  The Vanguard 15 class was founded about 16 years ago and is one of the fastest growing classes in the country. Although the V-15 originally started in the Northeast, large fleets have grown in California, Illinois, Florida, Texas, Ohio, and Washington. Regattas boasting over 60 boats have become common throughout the country.
